Search engines are one of the best ways to increase your blog traffic, Google is the major search engine it will take some time to index your blog/site , so you can manually submit your site/blog to Google is free and it is very easy to do

This tutorial will help you to add you Blog/Site in Google index

Step 1: Go to Google site submit page (http://www.google.com/submityourcontent/)

                                    

Click On Participate 

                                

Click On Add your URL

Enter your blog/site URL (ex : www.sitename.com ) and Word verification as shown below and click on Submit Request button  

                   

Once if you click on Submit Request button your work is done, you will get following message

                         

It will take several days to index your pages in Google search
