How to check your Operating System is 32 bit or 64
bit
The word 32 bit and 64 bit refers to the way your CPU (Your
processor) handles the data, 64 bit version OS can handle the large amount of RAM
(Random Access Memory)
32 bit computer can use only 4GB of RAM, you can also add
more RAM but your computer can not utilize it, where in the other hand it can
handle unlimited RAM
This tutorial help you to find out your operating system is
32 bit or 64 bit
Way 1:
Step 1: Go to Start -> Run
Step 2: Enter "dxdiag" in Run
Click on OK
Then you will get your system
configuration
Way 2:
Go to Start -> Run
Enter "msinfo32" in Run
See in the above screen shot System Type is X86-based PC
X86-based PC - It's a 32 bit Operating System
X64-based PC - It's a 64 bit Operating System
Way 3: Go to Run
Search for "System Information"
Way 4: Right Click on Computer
--> Properties
