How to Create a Shutdown Shortcut in Windows:
If you want to shut down your computer every time we are going to start and selecting shut down button to shut down your computer, instead of this we can create shut down, restart, log off shot cuts in desktop
This article will help to create a shortcut shut down button in your windows

Step 1:  Right click on your desktop, choose new ->shortcut

Step 2:  Type shutdown.exe -s in text filed click on Next

Step 3: Enter any name for shortcut and click on Finish
One shortcut folder has created as shown below


If you want to shut down your system double click on that shortcut, if you want to change the Icon as Shut Down symbol, right click the short cut and select properties

Click on Change Icon button

 You will get a message as shown below click on OK

Select an appropriate icon from list of the icons and click on OK

Click on Ok

See the short cut icon

If double click on that it will shut down your system
Same way if you want you can create shortcuts for restart and log off also
  •   If you want to create a shortcut for restart Type shutdown.exe -r in shortcut text field at step 2
  •   If you want to create a shortcut for log off Type shutdown.exe -l in shortcut text field at step 2
  •   If you want to create a shortcut to shut down your computer after a specific time Type shutdown.exe  -s -t 200 in shortcut text field at step 2
  •   If you want to create a shortcut to display a custom message before shut down a system Type shutdown.exe -s -t 300 -c "Bye I am going to sleep" in shortcut text field at step 2
  •   If you want to create a shortcut to terminate already scheduled shutdown Type shutdown.exe -a in shortcut text field at step 2
